The Successful Applicant

To have the skills and knowledge required for this multi-faceted role in managing our funds management operations, you will need:

• 3-5 years recent experience in Back Office operations within a Funds Manager or Custodian or an organization that operates retail or managed investment schemes.
• Extensive knowledge of financial instruments – especially equities/managed funds and has back offi ce experience in valuation of assets, unit pricing and distributions for retail managed investment schemes.
• Exposure to international equity settlements.
• A strong knowledge of corporate actions, dividends, cash and valuation reconciliation and portfolio accounting.
• Excellent written, interpersonal and relationship management skills as you will be dealing with all levels of stakeholders.

Other requirements:

• To be one of the Responsible Managers of the company’s AFS Licence.
• Possess a solid degree from a reputable university.
• Self-motivated, results focused individual.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills essential.
